CHARACTER'S NAME: Trish
FANDOM: Devil May Cry
OCCUPATION: Shopkeeper at Negozio di Antiquariato
CANON PERSONALITY: Shes confident, charming, caring, yet still somewhat sly and deceitful, but only when few matters call for it. Canonly, Trish is the kind of person who is dependable- one who will get a job done by all means. She canonly fancies wearing tight leather and embroidered corsets- along with high-heeled boots. She carries no weapons, but has an electric energy she can harbor and control as a weapon itself.. (though she wouldn't have supernatural traits in ESPALION) Shes somewhat tall and carries a mysterious demeanor, and likes to keep her waist-length blonde hair well groomed~ so perhaps 'primpy' is also another good word to describe her. She was originally, created by Lord of the Underdworld to impersonate Dante's mother, and lure him to his death- but eventually; he figured out her play and surpassed it- causing Trish to reconsider where her trust really lies.

"ESPALION" BACKGROUND: ( In ESPALION canon, Trish would be considered human and carries no special powers.. because I'm not so sure of policies on races. XD I'm completely re-writing her history to suit.. with one or two allusions to her canon history. :3 )

Trish was born of an Azizan slave woman and a man in power within a shady, wealthy family... which was quite naturally considered to be a great misdemeanor amongst members of the house and trade of slavery- a man in power having an affair with a slave woman. Her relation to him remained well unknown by most, save for her father himself and her slaveborn mother, who had but no choice as to hide it.

Shortly after her birth however, her mother had died of illness and poor treatment.. a common thing amongst many like her in this era of slavery being strictly forbidden and forced into a shadowed business.. Slaves under this family who had fallen ill were not given treatment, as it would potentially give their ownership away and cause problems... Either way, it still was hardly a hinderence to her, as she was very young when it had occurred. Because of her biological mix, however, Trish was forced to grow up as a servant within the manor under that same family. She was hardly abused or mistreated in any sense though, so natrually, being called a 'slave' wasn't what she had always considered her work as.

Still, she was still owned for a good majority of her life, until around her early 20's; she was old and well-rounded enough to make a successful refuge among regular Espalion- managing to open up and run a small shop for antiques and strange artifacts. Her looks and mysterious charm are something to be remembered amongst most men; and usually is put to well use when making bigger sales within the shop.

How and where she had gotten the money in doing this is still unknown. Rumors pass that the merchandise she offers is all stolen goods and she is in secret, associated with an occult, underground black market.. but in truth, there is no proof of this, as shady as she can often seem.
